Golf at George Golf Course

As always – nice and busy at George Golf Course.. MOST POPULAR GOLF COURSE IN THE SOUTHERN CAPE
We arrived at George Golf Course early morning – off loaded our golf cart and off we went…..
We were welcomed by Jenny and the outside Staff.
We proceed to check in for Golf…. George Golf Club indeed have friendly staff working there..
We arrived at the 1st tee – being welcomed by the friendly Starter!
Like always the course is in magnificent condition… Wherever you look it is lush green.. What a pleasure to play on a course like this… your golf even improves..
Just to mentioned the management of irrigation is supreme and well disciplined..
We teed off quite early the morning – therefore the course maintenance staff was still busy watering the greens…. Did not interfere with our game at all! Guaranteed the course maintenance staff all have green fingers… well done to you boys!
We arrived back at the Clubhouse after our first 9… enjoying a very taste full halfway house meal – variety to choose from…. From breakfast, hamburgers, pizza, salads, toasted sandwiches, steak rolls and much – much more…. Treat yourself to a lovely meal at George Golf Club – even if you not a Golfer!!
We sat on the patio enjoying our meal and overlooking the water with a spectacular view of the big old tree in the middle of the dam..
After our halfway house we proceed to the 10th… NOW to play the second 9 with a tummy so full…
At first we thought the back 9 is not going to go off so well as we really stuffed our mouths at the halfway house BUT indeed it went well.. birdies and par’s all the way!
After an awesome round of Golf at George – we enjoyed a few drink at the Clubhouse – outside on the patio…. Breath-taking views and great company!
Thank you to Sandra, Jenny and the team for a wonderful day off golf! The Course is looking magnificent!
