Ibhayi Town Lodge – Port Elizabeth

Ibhayi Town Lodge is well located in the Main Road of Walmer in Port Elizabeth. This was the first stop on our 3 week working holiday as we made contact with a variety of new, and existing accommodation establishments and golf courses across the country.

Ibhayi Lodge is not only part of the Lion Roars Hotels and Lodges Portfolio, it also happens to be Head Office to this spectacular property portfolio management giant in South Africa.

The rooms are really spacious, and upon entering, the first thing that caught our eye, was the large dark solid wood african wardrobes. Combined with the earthy colours of the decor, matching headboard behind the bed, and enough space on the floor to host a mini put put competition, we were just as impressed with the layout of the bathroom.

The restaurant menu offers a great variety of meals and although we opted to order from the restaurant itself, the friendly staff were more than happy to bring to our room. Ibhayi has everything you would expect from a 4 star facility and the special touch is that you try escape the feeling of being in a city!

Surrounded by quote a few shopping centers, gas stations, coffee shops, and only a few minutes drive from the beach front and other attractions around PE, we were really taken by surprise all round.

They really have two thumbs up from us, and we have no doubt in our minds that our clients will be treated like gold, as we were during our stay!
