George Golf Course is set at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, the heart of the Garden Route, and offers spectacular landscapes of the mountains and surrounding plateau.

George Golf Course is the ideal golfing experience, perfect for any type of golfer. One of the oldest courses in South Africa, the Clubhouse is a unique experience and is sure to be enjoyed by all.

The Clubhouse facilities include change rooms for men and women with showers, a halfway house offering light meals, a bar and a lounge with a verandah, which has a spectacular outlook over the course.

The George Golf course is a beautifully manicured, 72 par, 18 hole course, with bent greens, set in the heart of the Garden Route.

The Course rating for men is either 70 club or 72 championship and 72 for the Ladies.  Caddie and motorized golf cars are available for hire, book in advance.

The Clubhouse facilities include change rooms for men and women with showers, a halfway house offering light meals, a bar and a lounge with a verandah, which has a spectacular outlook over the course.

Caddies and motorized golf cars are available for hire – golf cars must be booked in advance.

Club Rules & Regulations

Visitors are welcome, with the exception of wednesday and saturday afternoons, which are reserved for members. No group bookings allowed on wednesdays and saturdays. Booking is essential.

Proper golf attire to be worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. Only soft spikes allowed. Smart casual (long pants 7 collar shirt) to be worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays after 18h00 in the bar.

2. At 2-way stop: go straight
3. Follow road pass Fancourt, where road split, go right
4. Follow road to traffic lights
5. At traffic lights, turn right
