Pezula Championship Golf Course adjacent to Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa is a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine Southern Cape landscape. The breathtaking, award-winning 18-hole course which was designed by David Dale and Ronald Fream of GolfPlan USA, ranks amongst the best and the most scenic golf courses in the world. In 2001, just a few months after it opened, the Course was awarded Best New Golf Course in South Africa. Par for the course is 72. It is designed to include a full range of shots, making it a challenging, rewarding and complete golf experience for players of all levels.

The stylishly appointed Pezula Clubhouse lies adjacent to the luxury Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa. It offers guests exceptional facilities including a vast terrace overlooking the golf course with views across the greens to the Indian Ocean, a restaurant and bar, a boutique golf shop, halfway dining facilities and comfortable change rooms with showers. Other facilities include a shoe cleaning service, a short game practice facility and putting green. Shareholders have access to a plush private lounge with fireplace, bar, diningroom and library. Friendly and professional service is integral to the Pezula culture. When you arrive at Pezula Club to play a round of golf, you will find your name on your club cart. Our professional staff will ensure that you are set for the game. Facilities at the adjacent Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa include an award-winning spa with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and heated indoor swimming pool, a gourmet restaurant, champagne and whiskey bar with cigar lounge.

Club Rules & Regulations

On the Course
Golf attire only allowed. Example of acceptable attire:
MEN: Golf shirts, slacks, golf shorts or walking shorts. Short socks are acceptable.
LADIES: Dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts, mid-length shorts and blouses.
FOOTWEAR: Appropriate golf footwear is compulsory on both the golf course and practice areas. Soft Spikes only.
Beachwear and denim jeans are NOT acceptable on the course.
In the Clubhouse Area:
Golf attire and casual/ smart street wear is acceptable in the Clubhouse.
No beachwear or slops allowed.
Golf shoes are allowed everywhere in the Clubhouse, no caps are to be worn in the Clubhouse.

Golf carts are obligatory and the resort’s carts are fully equipped with GPS system. Proper golf attire applies and short socks are permitted. Soft spikes are compulsory. Rental golf sets are available for guests who do not bring their own clubs. Tee times must be booked in advance and handicaps are required. Golf lessons are available from the Club’s PGA Professionals.

• Directions from the George side:
• Turn right off the N2 into George Rex Drive in Knysna (road to the Heads) …
• From the Plettenberg Bay side:
• Turn left off the N2 into George Rex Drive in Knysna (road to the Heads) …
• Drive towards the Heads, past the Knysna Golf Club on the left.
• Take the next road left (Wilson Street) and at the traffic circle
• Turn right and continue up the hill to Pezula
