Six underprivileged kids between the ages of 8 – 17 were treated to a golfing experience that could open new doors for them in the future.

They each received golf training at Kingswood Golf Estate and also received a range of golfing gear.

This was part of the Ultimate Golfing Road Trip Charity’s development that has been running for the last four years.
Play 9 golf courses in 7 days – each year in February / March

Each of the kids received a golf bag with a set of Clubs, a goody bag with a shoe bag, a Golf in the Garden Route cap, a sleeve of golf balls, tee’s and pitchfork.

Val Holland, a teaching professional from Kingswood, kindly offered lessons to the kids and it was amazing to see how a few adjustments almost instantly improved their swings.

Josef Booysen, a Development Manager and Johan Erasmus, Manager of the Southern Cape development Board also attended.

Kingswood Golf Estate kindly offered their facilities for this Charity.

Other big thank you’s goes to the 2013 Road trip players, Simola Golf Estate, Pezula Golf Estate, The Pro Shop and TaylorMade.
