WOW what an awesome experience in such a small town!

And so much to do!!!

Hubby to be and I decided to go on a Holiday Road Trip after our working Road Trip (6th Annual Ultimate Garden Route Road Trip – 9 golf courses in 7 days – hosted by Mariska Nortje and Mickey Louw).

Saying this all – part of the Holiday Road trip was to do site inspections / explore Tsitsikamma and St Francis Bay as both these areas are popular destinations for visitors / holiday makers.

PS – Only way I can give informative information to my clients is by experiencing this all myself!  What a privilege!!  So blessed!!

Day 1 – we arrived at Tsitsikamma Village Inn – DISCOVER A MAGICAL NEW WORLD!!

49 rooms in total, facilities like De Oude Martha restaurant, the Hunter’s Pub, Cafe Bacchus,  Barbecue facility, Games Room, Swimming pool, Free wi-fi, Conference centre and loads of activities, like Tree Top Canopy tours, Segway tours, Abseiling and Zipline Waterfall Tours, Scuba and boat diving, Black water tubing and so I can go on and on!

When they say its a Magical World they are not lying!!  MAGICAL and FRIENDLY TSITSIKAMMA!

After a friendly welcome and check in at Reception – off we went to the Tree Top Canopy Tours.
What a great and exciting experience that was!  Very interesting to learn about the different trees, how you know their age, how you know if it’s male or female, the type of tree they use for the Canopy Tours and why, the bird life and so much more!

Day 2 – Early morning rise to start the day with a good spread of healthy breakfast at Tsitsikamma Village Inn.
and did we need that breakfast as we were out the entire day Mountain biking!
………
We enjoyed a late lunch at Marilyn’s 60’s diner!  A MUST SEE!
It felt like I was living the 60’s!  Funky, Quirky, and Retro
American style diner serving everything from breakfast, cakes & milkshakes to all American burgers, dogs-with-a-difference, pasta, cocktails and desserts!

That evening we were spoiled by Angie and her team at Tsitsikamma Village Inn – they prepared a very romantic braai for us…  THANK YOU guys!

Day 3 – Morning of check out – enjoyed another tasteful breakfast followed by check out.
Today we decided to do the Segway Tours!
Yes it’s a must!  At first you feel off balance but once you have it – on your way you are!
We enjoyed an hour ride through town – greeting everybody (real family town – love it) off into the forest – off-road trail.
Short after that we sadly had to leave our magical town…  with new excitement ahead – ST Francis Bay
We arrived at Beach Break – Cape St Francis Resort!  What a beautiful Villa!  5 star!!

Day 4 – Today we slept in a bit as it was a cold and rainy morning. – we didn’t mind at all! We were spoiled with breakfast at the Villa – they come and make your breakfast “at home” for you – isn’t that something special!  We enjoyed a relaxed day – visiting the Penguin Rehab centre followed by late lunch at the Harbour.

Day 5 – Another morning of being spoiled with breakfast “at home”.
Today we visited St Francis Links golf course.  Yes the Gateway to and from the Garden Route. This is a must play golf course – the scenic views on and off the golf course is magical!  The Golf Course is lush green, well manicured and friendly staff all around – just smiles!  I was very impressed with the Clubhouse and its facilities!  Thank you Jeff and Liezl Clause for hosting us and a special thank you to Leely for the tour!!

In closing, we highly recommend a stop off and stay at Tsitsikamma (min. stay of 2 nights) to explore and enjoy the activities.
Cape St Francis certainly proved why it is the Gateway to and from the Garden Route – St Francis Links golf course a must play – for packages on the above areas CLICK HERE
